Finally Back Home (Final Update)
What a feeling it was to finally return home after the semester of being abroad in Korea and the extended trip I took to Japan following...
Korea, Noodles, and One Excited Boy
Dear Mr. Graeme Freeman,
Ever since I came across the song, "My My" by Apink in 2012 on TV, I became super interested in Korean culture. Not only the language, but the many different cities, towns, and ways of life there.
Now fast forward 7 years, and thanks to the generosity and kindness of you and your family, I will be able to enjoy and immerse myself in this experience without worrying about most of the burden that money can bring.
I hope to make the most out of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that has been given to me. I would like to incorporate everything great that I've learned so far with the new challenges and adversities that are yet to come. Through this blog, I hope to share my personal experiences with you and anyone else in gratitude and for my own ability to forever look back.
Thank you,
Michael Jitchaku
First and foremost, my name is Michael Jitchaku. I am planning on studying abroad at Yonsei University during the fall in 2019. Currently, I am a senior double majoring in Accounting and Management Information Systems, but am looking into Finance as a third one.
My personal interests are primarily video games and sports. As of right now, I mainly play League of Legends and Hearthstone. As for sports, I'm a fan of the Yankees and a few NBA teams.
Fun fact I'm a huge fan of the groups GFriend, and Girls' Generation, and hope to see them in Korea if I'm lucky.
